Fire extinguisher maintenance, supply & installation

Portable Fire Extinguishers will be installed in accordance with BS 5306 Part 8 2012.

Portable Fire Extinguishers will be serviced in accordance with BS 5306 Part 3 2009.  

Installations / Maintenance

When wall mounting fire extinguishers walls will be wetted and fixings will be carried out using an anti dust cover and a HEPA filter vacuum. Dust and filter is to be stored in a double sealed poylthene bag and is to be disposed of in line with local authority requirements. If asbestos is suspected and an asbestos register is not available and our technicians will stop work immediately and report findings to the relevant authority.

Any equipment deemed dangerous will be made safe and removed from site.

On site clients will be made aware of any defective or non-conforming equipment upon completion of maintenance.
