Fire door inspection and maintenance
We have no connection to any manufacturer, installer or maintainer of fire door products so will be providing independent advice that is in our clients best interest and follows U.K fire safety regulations.
We will provide a service that will be tailored to efficiently raise compliancy and provide data that can support a suitable long-term maintenance programme. Compliancy is key and the main driver for our processes and offered services,
This is required under the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order, Article 17 and as such an accurate, up to date Fire Door Inspection (concise reports/log) and subsequent Fire Door Maintenance programme needs to be in place.
We will complete third party certificated fire door inspections and collate data onto summary schedules with each door given an Action Priority Factor.
The approach shows the client where important faults are so any remediation works will have maximum positive impact on fire safety.
It is important that when such work is being carried out that the process and reporting is to the highest standards and that the assessor completing the works can offer assurances like:
All works are UKAS third Party accredited and completed by an Exova BWF/GAI – FDIS Certificated Inspector/s (FDIS – Fire Door Inspection Scheme)
You will receive a BRE – Building Research Establishment Loss Prevention Certification Board Certificate of Inspection following the works
